The Hawaii Land Clearing team was tasked with land clearing in Paauilo, Hawaii in July 2021. The client tasked Hawaii Land Clearing with removing brush from a very steep hill at the entrance of the client’s property. Clients’ goals were at job completion to be able to use their riding mower to maintain a section of hill that was previously overgrown with Cane Grass.

The Hamakua Coast offers unique challenges to Land Clearing operators, in other words, it rains often! For instance, the coast receives 120 plus inches of rainfall annually. So the window of good weather to accomplish work are normally pretty slim. However, Hawaii Land Clearing was born on the Hamakua Coast and is based in Honokaa Hawaii. Rain or shine we get the work done!

Back to the Paauilo project, firstly the Hawaii Land Clearing team removed the tall, overgrown, Cane Grass. Secondly, using one of our Hitachi Excavators to load. Thirdly, we then hauled the material away by Dump Truck. Fourthly, a Hawaii Land Clearing Track Loader did the fine-finish work, providing the client with a lessened grade on their hill. Finally, and most importantly the Hawaii Land Clearing team then spread grass seed on the fresh soil.

After that, the finished project provided the client with a smooth, gradual hill. New grass seedlings already established. So now, the client can now easily maintain the previously overgrown entrance to their property.

In conclusion, Hawaii Land Clearing strives to work with our clients and assist them in determining the best “plan of attack” to tackle a project. We work within our clients budget. Because, projects big or small, Hawaii Land Clearing can help you accomplish it all!
